Have
you ever tried to stay organized by attempting to commit
everything to memory? If you haven’t noticed yet, it
rarely, if ever, works. Extremely organized people write
down everything from detailed to-do lists to
meticulously logged meals and calories in their food
journals. Most of us aren’t that neurotic to be sure,
but there is something quite alluring about knowing
exactly how many calories were lurking in those ten
chocolate chip cookies you ate for lunch or being
certain of your next hair appointment. So, take it from
us, if you really want to be organized, write down
everything!
In this
new eco-era that’s vibrant with green possibilities we
now have easy access to planners that were created with
the environment in mind. Love that! Here are a few we’ve
found that we’re sure you’ll love also.
For
the Light-Hearted Planner in All of Us:
Wonderland 54-Week
Planner
This
whimsical planner speaks to anyone’s wild, fun side.
Made with 100% recycled paper and printed with soy ink
this 54-week planner will quell any guilt you might have
about contributing to a wasteful earth. Inside you’ll
find full graphics inside and out, section for notes and
ideas, to do list, favorites, address book, and a zodiac
chart. $15.

We
really loved this planner right away; perhaps it’s
because we’re huge art connoisseurs and love when
creative types can capture that feeling on paper. Graced
on the cover with a colored pencil landscape drawing by
Lart C. Berliner this journal has everything inside
you’ll need to stay properly organized like 54 dateless
weeks (one week is spread over two pages), reference
mini-calendars for 2008-2010, 7 personal resource pages
(important dates, special occasions/gift list, personal
reference, things to check out), 3 address book pages,
and 10 notes pages (4 lined, 6 blank). Not only is this
journal beautiful on the inside and out – it has art on
every inside page – it is also made with100%
post-consumer recycled paper and printed with soy-based
inks.

For
the Studious Student in All of Us
At-A-Glance Weekly
Planner
If you prefer a more straight-forward eco-journal
without all the bells and whistles or art and designs we
recommend the At-A-Glance Weekly
or Monthly Floral Appointment Book. Although this
appointment book does have floral designs on each page,
they’re not overpowering.
The At-A-Glance Appointment
Book’s standout qualities are two-page-per-month
spreads, telephone/address section and a flexible,
burgundy, and a wirebound cover to protect your planner.
It is also made with recycled paper with 30 percent
post-consumer material.
